There are things a person never forgets, these are: the first kiss, how to ride a bicycle, how to swim, and the stories learned as a child. So, what happens then with lessons? As teachers, it is easy to notice that once the students have fully understood the concepts, structure and vocabulary of a lesson; forgetting them is just a matter of time.
